CLEAR-Jun-2013: Published
The fourth issue of CLEAR published on July, 2013. The magazine in this issue contains articles on Question Answering, Malayalam Computing, Human language processing in biological processing and a comparative introduction for ClearTk. This issue also contains the details of M.Tech Master Research Projects, carried out by the first M.Tech batch students of the Institute.
The next issue will be on September 2013.

Talk on TBI
A talk on Technology-Business Incubator and its opportunities for young engineers was held on 12th June 2013. Smt. Preethi M, Manager, TBI, National Institute of Technology Calicut (NITC) delivered the session based on the need for Technology Business Incubators.
The primary goal of TBI is to facilitate economic development by improving survival and growth of new entrepreneurial units. They provide workspace with shared office facilities with emphasis on business and professional services necessary for nurturing and supporting early stage growth of technology based enterprises. The NITC has set up a Technology Business Incubator TBI-NITC with the support of NationalScience and Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board (NSTEDB), Department of Science&Technology, Govt. of India, to incubate start up industries in the field of IT and electronics.
During the session, Smt. Preethi explained the success stories of several entrepreneurs, for whom TBI had lend their helping hands. These successful entrepreneurs ranges from educated technocrats to laymen. One of the triumphant entrepreneur, she was talking about was an alumni from GEC Sreekrishnapuram, Sri. Lepeesh Parat (Managing Director & CEO at ZestyBeanz Technologies Pvt Ltd.). These stories really inspired all the participants including M.Tech and B.Tech students. The session was really motivational and informative.
